The Keystone Newport News Independent Living Skills Component consists of a thorough assessment which is completed at admission for those residents that are at least 15 years old.  The assessment is completed within the first fourteen (14) days of admission by the residents' primary therapist.  The purpose of the assessment is to obtain information about the adolescent's ability to enter the community as a young adult.
